The LERA has a long tradition of industry-focused analysis and publications by the Association.  A network of tri-partite Industry Councils have been organized in aerospace, airline, automotive, construction, health care, public sector, utilities, and others are underway, in materials, transportation, higher education, and others.  LERA Industry Councils engage in discussion, research, educational and scholarly activities regarding industrial relations on an industry-by-industry basis.  The creation of new knowledge about their respective industries, and its dissemination, is central to the activities of the Councils.  They provide for constructive discussions among management, labor, government, scholars, and neutrals.
